how to hide..

i want to hide formula in the formula bar. That is while selecting the cell containing formula, the formula will be displayed atomatically in the formula bar . i want to hide it ..is it possible

Yes, it is very much possible.

On the active worksheet press Ctrl+A --> Next press Ctrl+1 --> Protection tab --> Uncheck the "Locked" option. Press OK. Next, select the cell where there is the formula and you want to hide that formula. Again press Ctrl+1 and go to Protection tab --> Check the "Locked" & "Hidden" option and finally protect the worksheet with a password.

Thank u very much it is working . One more thing i need, i want to lock the horizontal scroll bar as well is it possibel? pls help me..
