Welcome To MrExcel Message Board.
Please give Example.
If you want see formula not result Use FORMULATEXT Function.
If you want Use Text within Formula Then.
Example
Excel Formula:
=If(A2="Lisa", 1000, 1)

in Cell A1 if there is a text you need to write that text in = and double quotes ("") for example

A1 ="Text" and then use & to join with formula

Sheet1
Cell Formulas

Hi & welcome to MrExcel.
A cell can have a formula, or a value but not both. So not quite sure what you are after.
