Hi,

I have a list of 2700 cells with references in. For reporting purposes, I need these references to begine with "ID" however at present they do not.

How can I insert ID at the beginning of each reference without doing it manually?

E.g. Instead of 1234567 it shoudl read ID 1234567 and so on.

Thanks in advance

try
Code:
Sub test()
    With Range("a2", Range("a" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp))
        .Value = Evaluate("if(" & .address & "<>"""",""ID ""&" & .address & ","""")")
    End With
End Sub

If you are not happy with VBA
In a blank column type ="ID "&A1
copy this down to the bottom then copy and paste special Values over the top
