How to install Excel Jeanie

Have previously installed Excel Jeanie on XP but new computer has Win 7.
Downloaded Excel Jeanie but am lost as to how to install.
Any help appreciated.

Hi Pedro

Jeanie is contained in a self-extracting exe isn't it? You should just be able to click on it to run it (note I don't use Jeanie anymore and it's been years since I downloaded it so could well be wrong).

From memory all I did previously after installing was go Tools/add ins and tick the box "ejhen_install" .

Unfortunately the box is not shown and I don't know where to browse to find it.

On my W7 installation it would go in:

C:\Users\Richard\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\AddIns

So check there (modifying the red Richard to your username).

Have found the file via your method in "downloads" and the file is a zip file.

Will play around with this file to see if I can get it to Add Ins.

Finally got it to work thanks by running set up

Excel Workbook
	A	B	C
1	56	2	112
Sheet1

Looks like it has not worked correctly

Pedro, if you thought you had it working, then you probably did. It doesn't work here because this particular forum has HTML turned off. Have a look right down at the bottom left of the page.
