Hi,
I am quite novice with VBA, and I am trying to figure out the syntax to make a cell's contents into a variable.

For example, here is an abridged copy of my code:

Dim emailto as string
Set emailto = *******unknown syntax for value in sheet 1 cell a1**********
Wb.Save
With EmailItem
.Subject = "Invoices and Open Balance Sheets"
.Body = "New Invoices" & vbCrLf & _
.To = emailto
.Importance = olImportanceNormal
.Attachments.Add Wb.FullName
.Send
End With

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
For starters, string variables do not use the "Set" keyword. Even if you knew the syntax for the cell, you would still get an error on that line :)

Try:

Code:
emailto = Sheets("Sheet1").Range("A1").Value
