Hello, i have been trying to make reminders in excel. For instance, a message pops up whenever a deadline is met. I am using cells which have the current date and time (and update automatically) and compare them with the date provided by the user; in another cell. However, i can only get it to work by pressing a button. What i had in mind was something like this:

there are 12 hours left for the event -> window pops that reads "reminder:12 hours left"
there is an hour left for the event ->window pops that reads "reminder:1 hour left"

Doing nothing else but pressing a "run" button just once. How can i make the macro run constantly?

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Welcome to the board.

Outlook does this for a living ...
