How to make a workbook automatically calculate w/o F9

I am having problems with a workbook not calculating formulas/changes until an F9 command is made. Is there a formatting option that can correct this?

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.

Welcome to the board. :)

Have you checked Tools/Options/Calculation to ensure that Automatic is selected?
