How to make y axis ticks on charts go all the way across?

I want ticks on my vertial line on my charts to go all the way across.

Is there a way to make the ticks do this?

If I understand correctly they usually do it by default.

You just have to edit the chart options and turn on the major gridlines on the Y axis.

hmm. when i do major tick for the access it still only puts it a little bit in.. inside / cross / or outside.. doesnt seem to do it

Click on the axis, right-click, "Format Axis". Under Axis Options, play with your intervals between tick marks until it's as you want
