How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
There's no need to do all that selecting.

Code:
Sub test()
Dim d As Range
Set d = Range("A1:E1")
Range(d, d.End(xlDown)).Name = "NAME"
End Sub
