Hello Board,

I apologize if there is already a thread on this, I tried searching and could not find my solution. I have about 10 columns of data about 500 rows long and need to copy it into another spreadsheet, without replacing that spreadsheets data. For example:

On Spreadsheet 1: A1 has 2001, A2 has 2002, A3 has 2003 and so on and so on
On Spreadsheet 2: A1 has 3001, A2 has 3002, A3 has 3003 and so on and so on

I would like the end result to have both A1's data combined to look like "2001, 3001" and if possible, copy the entire columns data to add onto the end, of the other columns data.

I'm not sure i explained this in the best possible way but I would appreciate any help at all! This is driving me crazy and I really do not feel like manually copy and pasting 5000 cells of data :(

Thanks,
Gage

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
Hi, welcome to Mr Excel,

The quickest thing to do might be to paste your data alongside your existing data, then use a formula to concatenate the two sets.

Existing data in columns A-J.
Paste new data in colunms K-T
In columns U-AD use this formula:

=A1&", "&K1

and copy it through U1:AD500

Now you can do what you like with your new data, like paste it as values back over columns A-J.

Hope that helps.
