Hi,

I would like to produce a chart that look similar like this. Is it possible to do so in excel?

Thanks.

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
Hi clover_vn,

This is not a problem as long as you embrace the =NA() into your mind ;)

You need to set up a chart range where you do the following:

Acutal equals your data until you reach the dotted red line, then =na() for all points there after.

Then create 3 new series (forecast optomistic, forecast realistic, forcast pesemistic) for your forcast lines where the data points =NA() before the red dotted line and = your data points after the redline.

Then chart the series.

Hope this helps.

Let me know if you would like me to create a vidoe tutorial for this.
