How to protect or hide VBA codes or macros in an excel file

Is there a way where I can protect the VBA codes or macros so that users do not accidentally tamper and modify them

VBA roject explorer / right click your project / VBA project properties / Protection

Good afternoon aparna

But always remember that all Excel's protection can be bypassed, and while the VBE password protection is a bit stronger than the worksheet / workbook protection it's nowhere near as robust as its "File Open" counterpart.

That said, it should keep casual users out. Just a point worth making...
