What I am trying to do is pull the numbers from one cell, (Average Amount Of Calls Per Hour) cell, each month, 12 months and get a total. Then from the total, a formula that will give me an Average Call Per hour, Year to Date.

The cells that I am trying to pull the numbers from to get a total are, G4, Q4, Z4, AI4, AR4, BA4, BJ4, BS4, CB4, CK4, CT4, DC4

Thank you for any help on this.

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
Have you tried the AVERAGE function?

Excel Formula:
=AVERAGE(G4, Q4, Z4, AI4, AR4, BA4, BJ4, BS4, CB4, CK4, CT4, DC4)

This assumes there are the same number of hours in each month. That probably isn't true, so to get a more precise average we would need to see more of your data. Need the total number of calls and total number of hours for each month.

For some reason, the Xl2bb is locking up, so I did a copy and paste. Hope this helps. Thanks

The list of cells you gave doesn't match the data you pasted.

For the data you pasted, which just shows 2 months, assuming column headers are in row 1 and agent names are in column A:

Excel Formula:
=SUM(C2,L2)/SUM(B2,M2)

Average total calls handled (not calls offered) per work hour (not hours logged in) .
