Hi guys,

i've got a formula that require me to use cell that has got value in it.

but my formula will appear #value if the other cell does not have a value in it.

so i need it to pull out the next available cell right to it. how do i do that ?

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Welcome to the Board!

It'll help if you post the formula you're working with now, but I'd venture a guess that you're looking for an IF statement. =IF(A1="",B1,A1)
