I am struggling a bit, I have a problem. I would like to pull through specific information from a colom. If the cell with the name (Steven) is picked up for example with a specific IF function then I want it to analyse the row and look for the "Start" Text and pull through the time right next to it. I would like the same to happen for the "End" Function. I basically want my document to basically to pull through the start and the end times.

Please note that I need the formulae to highlight an entire colom because I have these reports all bunched up on one page. That's why the formulae must only analyse the information once the name is picked up.

The end result will be pulled through to a summary.

Thank you to whomever helps.

Hi Dear,

If you don't need to check against the name, then below is the relevant formula

ABCDE

Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
B7B7=INDEX(B2:B4,MATCH("Start",A2:A4,0))
B8B8=INDEX(E2:E4,MATCH("End",D2:D4,0))

However, If you are checking against a list of names, then please where the name is positioned (i.e. which column)?

Best Regards
