Somehow a template got messed up. Sheet1 became a class object with the Code from the original Sheet1. Sheet11 appeared with the Sheet1 cells and controls, but no code. ThisWorkbook had no code (it always has the Workbook_Open() sub defined. The Sheet1 properties Name (code name) property is ThisWorkbook. The ThisWorkbook object property Name is ThisWorkbook. I must kill the class Sheet1 so I can rename the Sheet11 to Sheet1 and rename the code name to Sheet1. I do not have to touch ThisWorkbook. I cannot remove Sheet1 class, the option is disabled. I was able to change the codeName of Sheet1 to TrashClass. But I still can't remove it. At least we don't have two objects with the same CodeName.

Can anyone suggest an alternative to starting from scratch rebuilding the template on sheet 11?

Thank you.
