Was wondering if anyone could help with this.

Wanted to only return only the first word from a cell with multiple words in text.

Eg. Cell A5 is "Michael Jordan Brian Bob"
I need Cell B5 to return only "Michael"

Lookied into TRIM function, but I think you have to state the number of characters, etc. And the Text to Columns is a possible option, but does not deliver what I want and is not a function that can be applied to new records, etc.

Thanks

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
