Above is the information that is contained in each work book. I need to create a Macro that will allow me to search up to 7 days of these files. Each day of operation is saved to a new file. I need to be able to search 7 files for the Run ID/s and then have the results load to a new workbook. Say I search for Run ID Scon66 or in some cases Scon66 and Run 37. I need this to pull all the corresponding data of the Run ID, Carrier ID, %, and so on and place it in the new work book. I have never written a macro before and I could really use a hand accomplishing this. Any help would be Greatly Greatly Appreciated!

Excel Facts

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
There are a great number of examples on how to do this.

Google for : looping through workbooks
that will show you how to open and close workbooks and check for content in sheets

Google for : combining worksheets
that will show you how to check for data on sheets and transfer the relevant data to the bottom line of a sheet.

If you really do not know where to start let me know and I will get you going. (It is more fun to learn and understand it then get a ready made macro and never be able to modify it because you don't understand, I think...)
