hi all

i want my pivot table to look like this:

1643892860282.png

but I have to manually target the data and transform it to percentage

i tried going into field settings for pivot and pick percentage, but it just says "percentage of... XYZ" and no matter what I pick I get VERY different numbers (100%, -300%, -200% etc.) instead of the numbers that I want which are the ones above.

does anybody know how do to this please?

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
So first question: does the data in the table represent a percentage by itself, or are you trying to show a percentage of something else? If yes, you'll only need to change the number formatting style go to the pivot value field and click Value Field Settings → Number Format → Percentage. If no, you'll need to figure out how the percentage is calculated.
