I have a xy chart, and i want to show only the range (min and max) of the recent 300 data for the Y axis, How to do it? Thanks

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.

Could you expand a little please,

1) how is your original data set out?
2) what do you mean by of the recent 300 data...? Is there a date field that drives this?
3) what do you mean by Min/Max?
do you simply mean the Max value and the Min value (just 2 points in the chart),
or do you mean the # ammount of Max values and the # amount of Min Values?

Thanks

eg, i have a series of data

X(date) Y
1/1 100
1/2 180
1/3 305
1/4 420
1/5 500
......
8/29 350 (y min=100. max=500)

I would have a chart with x axis (time frame), and y axis (0 to 500).
is it possible to draw only the recent 500 days data each time if i were to continue adding more data. and how to set the Y axis range so that the 500 days data min and max range is drawn. (eg, if the recent 500 days data is from 300 to 500, would show only Y axis 300 to 500)
