How can someone easily know by looking at a worksheet if it is protected or not?

Quick Access Toolbar is shown on all sheets. Which command bar will always fade out while sheet is protected(some cells could remain unlocked)?

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Hi there,

This will do it:

Code:
Sub test()
    MsgBox Sheets("Sheet1").ProtectContents
End Sub
Alternatively, you can simply click on Tools -> Protection and see if it says "Unprotect sheet", instead of 'Protect sheet"

By default, most of the Home tab will be disabled.
