Is there a way from my active worksheet, to simulate a user entry and calculation on another (inactive) worksheet that exists within the same workbook?

Application: I want to remotely change values on detail sheets from my summary sheet and see the immediate financial effect of those changes rolled up on my summary totals.

I hope I'm explaining this clearly

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
Can you give more detail? Your change event can be used to change cells on lther sheets, but I'm not sure that's what you mean.

Yes, I know I can change the value in another sheet. That is the first step. I'll outline the steps.

1. Change a discount entry in summary sheet
2. Within the summary, determine which (inactive) detail worksheet discount needs to change.
3. Change the discount value in the inactive worksheet. I'm fine up to here.
-This is where I need the help -
4. Within the remote worksheet, make the Worksheet_change macro run (just as if the user had made the change within that detail sheet) that applies the updated discount to all of the line items in this sheet.

Does this help at all?
