how to unprotect radio buttons in a protected sheet

I would be obliged if anybody can help me to do the following task:

"how to unprotect radio buttons in a protected sheet"

Hi and welcome to the board! :)

I assume you are using Option Buttons from the Forms toolbar. You will not be able to use these on a protected worksheet if they are linked to a cell.

You will need to use Option Buttons from the Control Toolbox and then link them to a cell via VBA.

Welcome to the Board!

You can unlocked the buttons' linked cells.

With the sheet unprotected, select the linked cells and goto Format-->Cells-->Protection-->Uncheck "Locked".

Now you can protect the sheet and still interact with the butons.
