how do I make a formula so the result is:

BS6724-?C-0010

where the "?" is the number in column "C". I need to maintain the other details.

Hello,

Do you mean the following

Put this in D23

="BS6724-"&C23&"C-0010"

where C23 is an entered value, or do you want the row number i.e. 23 in this case?

If so, use this formula

="BS6724-"&ROW(C23)&"C-0010"

Are these any use?
