Hi.

I have a question. Is it possible to subtotal a column with rows of text and data without displaying the text equals to zero.

For example,
4
1
apple
peach
peach
apple

When you apply subtotal it shows as follows

1 Total 1
apple Total 0
peach Tota l 0

Is it possible to show the results like

1 Total 1
apple Total apple
peach Total peach
peach Total peach
apple Total apple

Thank you very much!

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
what would be the result expected for
4
1
apple
peach
peach
apple

do you want the sum in one (1) cell? or do you want something different altogether?
