Hi guys,

first off thanks to everyone for the replys on my previous thread!

One last thing I need to know how to somehow do is this!

I need to be able to bring up a prompt for some data to be updated between the 1st and 3rd of each month.

So Excel has to recognise todays date - with =NOW()

now allI need excel to do is to say,

NOW = between the 1st and 3rd of each month, so in the next cell reference the text - "Check Variable" needs to appear.

Is there anyway to achieve this at all? Thanks again!

Help is much appreciated! :)

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
For me it was:
1) Work with it all day
2) Allow yourself to be curious. Almost any time you think "I wonder if this can be done with Excel," the answer is almost always yes.
3) Help files
4) MrExcel.com - The place you go to learn the stuff you didn't know existed.

This site is great!

I also have a book "Excel Hacks" by David & Raina Hawley

It has a lot of tips and tools ;)

Look for it... easy to use, easy to understand...
