How to you link todays date NOW() with IF sums?

Hi guys,

first off thanks to everyone for the replys on my previous thread!

One last thing I need to know how to somehow do is this!

I need to be able to bring up a prompt for some data to be updated between the 1st and 3rd of each month.

So Excel has to recognise todays date - with =NOW()

now allI need excel to do is to say,

NOW = between the 1st and 3rd of each month, so in the next cell reference the text - "Check Variable" needs to appear.

Is there anyway to achieve this at all? Thanks again!

If Day(Date) <= 3 Then...

With =NOW() in A1 try

=IF(DAY(A1)<=3,"Check Variable","")

=IF(DAY(NOW())<4,"Check Variable","")

For me it was:
1) Work with it all day
2) Allow yourself to be curious. Almost any time you think "I wonder if this can be done with Excel," the answer is almost always yes.
