Hi

I have a number in a cell that is formated as 37:30, I want to be able to multiple this number by a value in another cell (Units per hour)

So the formula would look like 37:30 * Units.

The problem is I need to keep the hours value in time format. I need to convert it to a number some how to use in the formula... so 37:30 should = 37.5.

Thank you

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Do you need TIME? | wmfexcel
