This URL will take you to a employee timesheet I embedded in my website.

Purpose: I need employees to post their hours on a bi-weekly basis and then send to me via email.

History: This template was a free download at Microsoft.com I have made numerous changes from the original template with success.

Problems:
1) The cell following "week of" has the date that I used when I created the sheet.
Why can't I change this date? I need to alter this date every 2 weeks.
2) Why can't I scroll to the bottom of the page?
Was it something I did when I modified the page?
3) Where do I put in the code so that a "send" button appears on bottom of the page?

I am a small business owner trying to survive.
I must address these kinds of concerns on my own.
Can anyone help me?

Excel Facts

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
welcome to the board

it doesnt matter around here whether you're a small business or what, you'll find people willing and able to help ;)

I cant view your link because of security restrictions, however:

1) what do you mean you cant change the date? Is the cell protected? Do you want the sheet to update automatically? the formula =TODAY() will help there, but if its down to cell protection you need to unprotect the worksheet. If its password protected, its against forum rules to tell you how to break passwords, sorry

2) do you have freeze panes on? Or, in Visual Basic, is the Scroll Area setting restricted?

3) explanation varies depending on your version of Excel

One of 3 resolved so far.
The date code worked. Yeah:rofl:
Still working on the other 2 items.
Did I tell you that I am changing this spreadsheet via Google Doc's?
Good idea or not?

Couldn't say, I have never used it. I'm Excel all the way, and everything I know is based on Excel menus etc. Any instructions given here on how to fix perceived problems, will be based on my understanding using Excel, and may not actually be a problem if using different software

Questions 2 and 3 I couldnt begin to explain using Google, and I dont even know if either are possible, although I guess both would be. 2 might not actually be a problem, it might be how that software is set up. I can't help you with this, sorry

I downloaded the Google Doc to my desktop in the Excel format. As I move forward I believe this is the smartest strategy.
