I'm a newbie, so this may be old stuff to forum regulars, but I was wondering if anyone has created an Excel template of the HUD-1 Settlement Statement for buying/selling a house. It would be great to have a dynamic form that can be customized, saved, and changed. Also easy to keep records on multiple properties. [I know there's real estate software out there, but thought Excel could handle the basics. I don't need every variation of real estate transaction.]

And if someone has created the template, are they working on a new version? I understand there is to be a new form in use starting January 1, 2010.

Appreciate the help.

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
LadyOfTheLake,

Search the web for (examples out there):

I tried a Google search in various ways, and didn't come up with anything in Excel. Of course, the web is very large . . .

After more web searching, I decided "What the heck?", opened a blank worksheet, and started typing.

I'll post a final thread here when I have the form completed, if anyone is interested.
