Hey guys,

How can I deal with a huge CSV file? I need to extract some data but a lot of lag and freezing and errors, making it very hard to work with. When trying to copy and paste columns from it and paste into new worksheet I get errors, im guessing because the file is huge. Even when I try copy and pasting a small amount, it is efficinet as their are probably 200,000 rows. It is over 300 mb.
Any tricks to managing a file this size?

Any input would be appreciated.

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
Hm is the file on a network? It might help putting it on your local computer then. Otherwise use databases like ms access?
