Good afternoon one and all,

This is driving me mental.

I have multiple .mp3 files on an external hard dive in various folders. I have created hyperlinks on an excel spreadsheet to open them. When I click on any one I get a warning message telling me that some files are harmful, Can I disable this warning message as the files are all ok.

I have searched the internet and tried many regedit options, non worked for me.

I have made the drive a trusted location and ticked the subfolders box, still getting the warning message.

I can open an excel workbook that is on the hard drive with no warning message

Any help greatly appreciated

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
Hello Logit,

Thanks for your two links, the first one seems to be for internet files which is not the issue i am trying to solve. The second seems to be the usual regedit run through I have tried al sorts of options on this but to no avail.

The more I look into this the more it seems it cannot be done. I even contacted Microsoft but gave up after being "on hold" for 40 mins.

Thanks again for you replies and offers though, seems like I might need to wait for yet another windows update :(
