Hi all,

I'm looking to hyperlink (click on a cell and be transported) from one cell on a master worksheet in a file to a cell on another worksheet in the same file. Tried to use the hyperlink button, but it asks for an address and not sure how to format or write it. Looked in help on Excel and gives examples, but again, not sure how to attach this to the text in the cell
"=hyperlink("[file name]sheetname!cell",cell)

Any and all ideas are appreciated. Enjoy the holiday this week, or Wimbledon, or just have a good weekend.!

As usual, thanks for the help,

Kenman

SteveO59L,

Thanks for the response. When I click on the hyperlink button, the Hyperlink wizard box comes up with a list of files. I am trying to link to another cell on another sheet in the same file that I am currently in. When I click on the file for the hyperlink address, the file name with the .xls extention shows up, but I don't know the formatting to get to the worksheet in that file or to the specific cell I'd like to get to.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Kenman

On the Insert Hyperlink Dialog box, on the left hand side, you should get an option for
"Place in this document"
