Hyperlinks in New Menu

Does anyone know why it is not possible to create hyperlinks in an excel documents that are attached to a new menu item in the menu bar all specific to a particular excel file.

Is there a way around this issue?

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
