Anyidea how to attach a hyperlink to an individual cell on a worksheet?

What do you mean by hyperlink? Web address or another file? A location in a worksheet?

Does the Insert|Hyperlink function not work?

The hyperlink is a thumbnail picture that is linked to a psecification of a machine. I am required to drag and drop this spec into a cell so it is attached to the file for emailing and faxing.The drop and drag action must also insert the description and price information into the relevant cells.
