Hyperlinks

Is it possible to insert a hyperlink in a folder that will direct the user to the actual excel spreadsheet?

Is the folder on a network? If so just creat a shortcut of the present spreadsheet in their desired folder.

Well the file is on the network but they wanted the actual "hyperlink" in each of their folders so would always have the correct version.

Store the document anyway as mentioned, create a short cut in all there folders it will work.

(Create a short cut by right clicking on the document and press create shortcut, then RIGHT CLICK AGAIN press cut then paste into their folder..)


NB.. It may be worth sharing the file to view history / amendments etc... and avoid conflict when entering in data.

Also look at the below, if you have multiple users in one workbook, conflicts may appear, i.e. same person wanting to enter same data in one cell. The below will help here....
