I don't want it to work

I need to make a macro not to work if A1=1
the macro is attached to a shape and it someone double clicks it will run twice (that’s very BAD).

OK THIS Doesn't work the way i want it to. Lets reword this

nope don't work. Here is the code i am working on. Is there a nother way besides using 1 on A1?

in your code it looks like you're clearing the contents of cell A1 at the end of your macro (see line just before end sub). Perhaps get rid of that line.

Yea MY bad i forgot to say that the macro has to be able to run again after it is finished. Trying to make this idiot proof . I don't want to be able to double click while it is in process. sry for not saying so

its my understanding you can only run one instance of a macro at a time, so unless they are breaking out of the macro and then running it again, it should complete to the end

you could use any cell for you value, it doesn't even need to be on the same page, when referenced correctly.

yes it will run till the end but if I click on it while it is running the first time around it will run again after it is finished the first time around.
