I have drivers making pickups and deliveries tracked by invoice numbers. How do I get excel to put a particular invoice number on workbook sheet for that driver?

For instance, driver "Stone" has invoice numbers 124920 thru 125000 and 126001 thru 126137 and driver "Armando" has 126200 thru 126500. The drivrs each have their own sheet in a excel workbook listing invoice charges and caculating discounts, fuel surcharges, etc.

Thanks in advance!

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
You can have the sheet look for the highest invoice number in that workbook and add the next invoice onto the current sheet being worked on. However, an archive of these invoice numbers must be kept somewhere within the workbook. I would need more information as to how the invoice numbers are being archived.

I was attempting to create a sheet in the workbook titled Invoice Log - just a simple record or the ranges of numbers each driver has.

Then, when a number is typed into a master sheet, the name appears by the number. When the master is complete I can sort by name and break out each driver separately...

Hope this helps... by the way drivers do not always use in sequential order...

This what i have been tryingbut I guess i am not even close? Assuming three drivers with invoices in a simple 3-column sheet named "Invoice Tracking" (Low invoice number, high invoice number, and name).

=IF(AND(B16>'Invoice tracking'!A3,B16<'Invoice tracking'!B3),"Armando")*IF(AND(B16>'Invoice tracking'!A4,B16<'Invoice tracking'!B4),"Stone")*IF(AND(B16>'Invoice tracking'!A5,B16<'Invoice tracking'!B4),"JJ")

It doesnt work, getting #name? error...
