I have a spreadsheet which needs to be able to be specific when options are choosen. My sheet has four drop downs and I am pulling data from a table on the 5th sheet. I know how to validate, select as list and create a drop down to choose info however, I need to take this to the next step.

I am going to try and explain what I need the best way I know how and If someone can point me in the right direction it would be a great help.

I have a Class, Subclass 1, Subclass 2 and Subclass 3

There are only 4 classes but many subclasses and so on. I need to be able to select Class 1 and in the subclass 1 drop down only have the options available for Class 1. Currently, when I pick Class 1, the subclass 1 drop down includes all subclass 1 items for Classes 1-4. If I pick Class 2, I need the second drop down to only show the Subclass 1 options for Class 2. I have no idea what formula to use to accomplish this. I have a sheet which was created by another employee here however, it is locked up tight and I cannot see the formulas they used. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December

In other words, you need to create dependent drop down lists.

Yes, dependant lists. I wasnt sure what to call them. I am proficient with Excel but all self taught so I am not necessarily familiar with the lingo. You all have been a huge help!!! Thank you!!!
