I have statement of account which is "C" column is Sales and "G" column is target Sales. in G4 is amount (-50,000) which is the target sales for the month, C5 = 5,000 (the sales for the day) then G5 must calculate (50,000) deducted by C5 and must be (45,000) not a 45,000.

=G4+Sales!C5

If you want the parantheses instead of a negative sign then format the cell as a number and choose paranthes for negative numbers.
