I need help with Excel formula!!!

I am new to this forum and I really need urgent help with the following:



I am trying to set up macro in excel for something like this:

I am taking data from Cell:A and want it in format as shown in Cell:B
My result is coming as Cell:C

The formula I have so far is:

C1=A1
C2=A2
C3+=
=IF(AND(C3=C$3,C2=A2),A3,IF(AND(A3<>C3,C3<>C$3),C$1,IF(AND(A3=C3,C3<>C$3),A2,A3)))

I am missing one value for Gamma/one for Zeta and one for Delta due to the way I wrote function to write description separating every change in part name... the problem is the alpha, beta, gamma... will keep changing in number from sheet to sheet so I want to make sure the required format is capturing it all.

Can anyone please help me with it so I get the preferred style (Cell:C) with appropriate information.

Please let me know if it is unclear, I can try to expand on it more!!!
