I seem to be permanatly registered as "Currently Browsing"

I think it may have happened when my PC crashed, but everytime I come to the board it seems like even before I have logged in my name is down as browsing.

It's not that I'm embarassed to be associated with the site, but I don't want it to cause problems with any posts I post.

Don't worry - I just checked the list of members logged on and you weren't there! (UK time 10.19AM on Friday 6 September 2002)

What is weird is that sometimes members appear to be logged in more than once - I think 4 entries is the most I've seen!

Guys like me register more than once so we run more than one session, its faster if you want to hravy post as you will see i do sometimes, but you take shots and do not refresh so work static not refresh each time like most do, so i always have 3 4 5 sessions open ,,, but now you see im logged in once this is the trick as more on board slower the board runs, this way its no effected!!

Also i should not gag the feed i no better ot speaical from anytone else!!

Does that explain a bit?

Now UK time 17.04 and this board is very slow, when US is up, the web all goes slow, this i feel is adsl or dsl UN us AND so guy log in solid not like us on off on off as time restrictions cut in and we dont hav good ADSL, not that we really need it just yet 56k boys r us!

You don't have to "log on" to be registered as browsing. The cookies on your PC mean the board knows you're there as soon as you enter.
