I know Excel pivottables are an incredible invention, but I still miss a couple of functions. Does anyone know of an add-in/software that would be able to compensate for certain missing functions, such as:
- possibility to drag text fields in the 'data area'
- possibility to put calculated field in as row or column field (not sure if it would always made sense but in certain cases it would)
- possibility to define relationships among fields to make drill-downs more natural (e.g. country-state-city)
- possibility to define filters on certain fields (like numerical row or column fields) more easily than having to click on individual checkboxes
