I have a list of text symbols in Col R that can be several hundred long. I have another list in Col S, and I want to know if members of my list in Col S are members in Col R. If they are, I write the identifier in Col T. If not, I leave the appropriate cell in Col T blank. I need a function in Col T that will do that for me.

Thanks for your help.

Hi

Try in T3 :-
Code:
=IF(ISNUMBER(MATCH($S3,$R$3:$R$9,0)),$S3,"")
and drag down, adjust cell references for column R as required.
