Identify and delete spaces?

I have spreadsheet templates that are used to import user accounts into a web-based application. These spreadsheets are completed by our site contacts and sent to me for import. Occasionally the site contacts will include a space or two at the end of the text within a cell. Our app reads the space(s) and is either unable to match the import with the existing validation, or the fields are imported with extra spaces which causes issues in the application.

Is there a way to use a macro to quickly scan columns within spreadsheets to identify, and delete, spaces at the end text within a cell? These cells are formatted as text. I'm using Excel 2007.

Thank you!!!

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
Something like
Code:
dim cl as Range
For Each cl in Selection
cl=Trim(cl)
Next cl

lenze
