I have to identify if any of the columns have Xs in a given range and if so add an x to that range header.

Here is the example data:
Book1345.xlsm
ABCD
1Description123
2
3Basketball
4AAAX
5BBBX
6Soccer
7CCCCX
8DDDD
9EEEEXX
10Tennis
11FFFX
12GGGX
Sheet6

This is what I need the output to look like: For example B3 and D3 have Xs in them because B4-B5 and D4-D5 both already have an X in them.
Book1345.xlsm
ABCD
1Description123
2
3BasketballXX
4AAAX
5BBBX
6SoccerXXX
7CCCCX
8DDDD
9EEEEXX
10TennisX
11FFFX
12GGGX
Sheet7

I have multiple worksheets where this "range" changes. For some B4-B5 is the Basketball Range whereas in another worksheet the range may be B4-B7. I was trying to come up with a macro that can add in the Xs regardless of the data range. I am an intern who has many workbooks of data like this to sort and having a macro would help a lot.

Thank you so much!
