I have a column of mixed raw data that includes dates where the numbers are either 1-digit or 2-digit for the month, day and year.

aaa
zzz
333
1/10/16 123g4
xyz
10abc
7/3/20 xwyz56
123 $4567
10/15/18 12345

Is there a formula for the next column to indicate, for example, 'xxx', wherever there's a row with a date? One constant is the date rows have the two slashes ('/'), if that helps.

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
