Hello Mr excel,

I have some nested sumIF,

I would like excel to check whether if a cell starts with "21:" as first 3 strings, if so, to divide the result by 2.

This would help me differentiate dayshift/nightshift workers. If some one starts after "21:", I know it's nightshift and I need to reduce their workload by 2.

Thank you.

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.

Celticfc, Good afternoon.

Maybe that helps too:

A1 --> TIME

D1 --> =IF(HOUR(A1)>=21, A1/2, A1)

I hope it helps.

Have a nice day!
