What's wrong with this formula? In row A1:A10 if i write t it gives =NOW but not the FORMULA for showing time. What is the mistake here?
Thanks!

Alizakore, Good afternon.

Try to use:
Code:
=IF(COUNTIF(A1:A10, "t")>0,NOW(),"")
Remember to format as TIME the cell will receive this formula.

Is that wha tyou want?

I hope it helps.

Alizakore, Good evening.

The error message is clear.

You're typing a formula as text.

Did you used CTRL+C and CTRL+V with the suggested formula here and put it at a cell directly?
It's so simple.

To avoid getting too much time to solve something that is apparently simple, save your spreadsheet on a free website, www.sendspace.com or another and place the download link here.
This will make it easier to check what's going on with your data.
