what formula would look like to perform something like that

if b1=a1 then in c1 print nothing

Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.

ohh thanks for that, but what if B1<>A1?

Didn"t think about it, but it is very important and in that case how the formula would look like ?
if b1=a1 then in c1 print nothing but if B1<>A1 then print in C1 value of B1
