I am using the following array formula which tells me the first row on which there is a difference between two columns of data in columns A and C.
=MIN(IF(A1:A3000<>C1:C3000,ROW(A1:A3000),3001))
If it identifies, say row 12 then I wish to mark row 12 in column B with an 'x' and have the formula identify the next row where A and C differ. I've tried the following, but it always returns 3001
=MIN(IF(AND(A1:A3000<>C1:C3000,B1:B3000<>"x"),ROW(A1:A3000),3001))
I'm sure I'm doing something really stupid, but I can't see what it is.
